    A story about Darya and her father Babak, an inventor who has lost his ability to create.  Follow them on their journey to the Ocean of Notions, through their many adventures and discoveries about the practicality of imagination and the power of dreams.

    Gifted musicians age 8-18 from the Friends Music Camp are holding their 5th annual benefit concert for the Glen Helen Association. Come for a memorable evening of music!

    Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids 12 and under.

  • Peace & Reconciliation: A Spiritual Approach

    A Free Public Talk by Ryder Stevens

    Ryder Stevens, CS, a retired US Army Chaplain. Ryder’s 23 years of military service took him to over 47 countries including several combat zones.

    His work has been extensive and ranges from family counseling to briefings in Ukraine, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Slovenia where he was presented the functions of chaplains in the United States Military including concepts “free exercise of religion” “religious accommodation” and “confidentiality”. He worked with the military organizations of Sub-Sahara Africa and played a part in founding a Humanitarian/Peace Keeping Force for that region with religious considerations recognized as individual rights.

    In this talk, he addresses correcting violence and terrorism from a Christian Science perspective and from his years of active duty experiences. You will not want to miss hearing and meeting Ryder.
