Basic Acrylic Painting will be held at the Yellow Springs Community Library on Thu., Mar. 16, 23, 30, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Local artist, Christine Klinger, teaches this class for beginners. Subjects covered will include the theme, composition and light quality of your paintings, as well as tools and materials, basic color theory, and the flexibility and nature of acrylics. All materials you need will be provided, but feel free to bring in simple items to make your own personal still life and photographs or magazine clippings of simple landscapes you would like to paint.
