Based in the Czech Republic, the Bennewitz Quartet has won wide critical acclaim and has performed at major venues around the world. It has been praised for its “beautiful tonal palette and purity of intonation” (Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung), and its recording of Smetana’s quartet was called “simply phenomenal” (Klassik.com).

All concerts are at the First Presbyterian Church, 314 Xenia Ave., Yellow Springs, OH.  Concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. with a pre-concert lecture at 6:45 p.m., with the exception of the Competition. The Finals of the Annual Competition will begin at 4 p.m. with no pre-concert lecture.
