The Yellow Springs Senior Center is pleased to present Bob Huston – Abstract Iron to be exhibited in the Fireplace Room Art Gallery September 21 – October 31, 2018. The exhibit will feature, a collection of original sculptures, paintings & drawings. The exhibit is open when the room is not in use. 

Bob Huston began drawing as a child and has continued ever since. He received a Degree in Art from Coe College, and took classes at the Corcoran School of Art.
Bob has done sign painting and woodcarving since his college days.
After a long career in iron metal casting, he evolved into three-dimensional sculpture using the lost-foam casting method.
The inspiration for his sculpture comes from observing abstract shapes in everyday life, believing the negative space must be just as interesting as the positive space. Bob’s sculpture ranges from 4” cubic to 24” across. 
He has previously exhibited at the Springfield Museum of Art and is proud to show his work at the Senior Center.
Bob is a former president of the YSSC Board of Trustees.
