June 22-July 14th Wednesday- Sunday 1-4 Evening Reception June 21st 6-9 pm Spinning fiber to weave garments or interlacing plant materials to cover our bodies is an ancient tradition since the beginning of man. The Weavers Guild invites you to see the ancient to the very new in Fiber Arts. Whether in a collage for the wall, a garment to wear, fabric to sew or just the feel of hand-spun yarn in a basket, come experience the Fiber Arts. The Weavers Guild of Miami Valley is celebrating their 70th year in 2019! They are a non-profit, educational organization promoting handweaving, spinning and many other textile arts. The members include beginners and professionals. Members volunteer their time to teach others. The meetings are open to the public once a month at 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday from September through June. They meet either at the John Bryan Center in Yellow Springs or at the Glaesner Center of Bethel Lutheran Church, north of Young’s Dairy.
