Artist Scott Lindberg has been hugging trees for over 25 years.  He regularly visits Glen Helen, John Bryan State Park, Clifton Gorge, and Indian Mound Reserve to sit and meditate with the trees.  Mr. Lindberg is fond of saying “some of my best friends are trees.”

From November 1-December 31, 2019, Mr.  Lindberg’s works “Forest Frames” will be on display at ReMax Plus Realty, 257 Xenia Ave., Yellow Springs Ohio, during business hours. He will also show a collection of his prints celebrating the spirit of the forest.

Opening Reception – Friday, Nov. 15, 2019, 5-8 p.m.  Refreshments will be served.  The public is invited to meet the artist at this open house-style reception. Violinist Karen Patterson will provide music. 

About the artist:  Scott Randall Lindberg holds a BA in Contemporary Religions and Psychology from Fresno Pacific University. To create the Forest Frames, Mr. Lindberg waits for dead trees to release their bark, a process that can take a year or more.  He then carefully reassembles the fragments into a unified whole, stabilizes the back, and fits the bark into a custom-made frame for display.  “Forest Frames” bring the spirit of the forest indoors.
