The 7th annual Dogtoberfest is coming soon. So Mark your calendars and plan to attend this awesome day out with your dog to raise money for the Humane Society. The public is invited to bring their well behaved dogs to the winery. Please no extendable leashes!! There is a costume contest for the dogs with judging at 3:00pm. There’s lots of vendors selling dog related items and some for humans too. Freddies Franks and Burgers will be serving up a tasty menu of grilled meats. Skip Hoyt will be singing from 1:00-4:00pm. Krissi’s photography will be taking pictures of your dogs and donating all the money to the humane society. We will have basket raffles, a 50/50 raffle, a bake sale, and hoodie sales all to benefit the humane society. The humane society will be at the event adopting dogs so maybe you could even find your new best friend. We will be offering wine tasting for 6 tastes of wine it’s only $6 which includes a souvenir wine glass to take home. Now for the big news!! We will be releasing our new wine called Luv-a-bull! The label features three Pittbulls! We are advocating for the fair and equal treatments of all dog breeds. Discrimination is wrong whether it’s against people or dogs. Breed specific laws don’t work to protect people from dog bites. It’s been proven again and again and should be done away with throughout the world. This label is our way of supporting our pitty friends. We hope you all love it as much as we do. The wine is a sweet white Moscato! Everyone has been asking for it for years. Well we just made it and it’s amazing! And unlike most moscatos which are usually 5-7% alcohol ours is around 12%!!! We only have 40 cases so there is a great chance it will be gone in one day! Make sure you come to dogtoberfest to get yours before it is gone. We will be donating $5 per bottle to the Humane Society. So don’t miss out on this funfilled day out with your dog.
