An afternoon of family fun, games, food and music. Wednesday, August 14th, 4:00pm—6:30pm Xenia Community Center (next to the GCCOA office) 1265 W. Second Street, Xenia $10 per person; Free for kids 12 and younger and accompanied by an adult. Tickets available at the Council office, at senior centers, or at the door. Schedule: 4—5:30 pm Games, Refreshments & Old Country Store 4—5:00 pm Music by Mack and the Rockets 5:00pm Cloud Racing Tournament with Play-by-Play Announcer Paul Newman Jr. and sixteen competitors, including the mayors of Yellow Springs, Fairborn, Xenia, and Beavercreek. 5:30pm The Action-Packed Homemade Treats & Jam Auction. There will also be a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle. Some of the items you will find in the Old Country Store: Individual Jars of Strawberry, Blueberry, & Other Berry Jams, a variety of Breads/Rolls, Packages of Bars & Cookies, handcrafted decorative items, soaps and essential oils, and more. Live Auction Treats Include: Pies, Cakes, Cookies, Candy, Breads & Jams, ready to share or keep for yourself! All proceeds will be used for future senior and caregiver services and programs.
