Ohio Author Talk: Julie K. Rubini will be held at the Yellow Springs Community Library on Thu., Aug. 31, from 4-5 p.m. Ohio author Julie K. Rubini will discuss her new book Virginia Hamilton: America’s Storyteller, a biography about a Yellow Springs native and one of the most honored authors of children’s literature in the twentieth century. Her book is the most expansive biography of Hamilton published for young readers and it was vetted for accuracy by Hamilton’s husband, poet Arnold Adoff. Immediately following Julie’s presentation, there will be a book signing at Dark Star Books.
