The 20th Annual Auction Gala & Comedy Show will include – in addition to the silent auction and a comedy performance – a live auction, gourmet hors d’oeuvres (most will consider it a meal) provided by Current Cuisine, wine, and dessert.

This year’s stand up comedian will be Suzanne Westenhoefer, who was the first openly lesbian comedian to host an HBO Comedy Special. Suzanne has been delivering groundbreaking, stereotype-shattering, and brutally honest comedy for 25 years. Not one known for her subtlety, Suzanne charges boldly onto the stage, never delivering the same show twice, and is always a mystery and a delight. Along with her HBO Special, she’s hosted specials and appeared on Comedy Central, Logo TV, and Late Night David Letterman, along with producing three GLAMA award-winning specials. T

he Antioch School is the oldest democratic school in the country and an essential Yellow Springs institution.This is the major fundraising event of the year with most of the proceeds benefitting the school’s Scholarship Fund. 51% of the school’s students are presently receiving financial aid to attend.
