Town and Gown Doubles Tennis Tournament

The Yellow Springs Community Tennis Association, Antioch College and the Wellness Center invite your participation in an afternoon of play to benefit the tennis court restoration project.

Location: Antioch College Tennis Courts (corner of Livermore and Marshall)
Date: Saturday, October 18, 2014
1st Rain Date: Sunday, October 19, 2014
2nd Rain Date: Saturday, October 25, 2014
Time: 1-6 p.m.

The US Open is over but teams are still forming for the Town & Gown Doubles Tennis Tournament. On Saturday, October 18, at 1 p.m., the Town & Gown teams (captained by Mike Swart and Antioch College President Mark Roosevelt) will square off on the Antioch College courts and come out swinging….racquets! Don’t miss the fun! Contact Barb Collins-Stratton at bcsmpt@sbcglobal.net to register to play, or sponsor a player.

Format:
One doubles round will be played on the hour.
One round = 1 set.
Five rounds are planned.
Players may reserve a spot to play in all 5 rounds.
Opposing teams will be made as equal as possible.
Total sets won will determine the event winner.
Balls will be provided.
Players must bring a racquet.
Players must be on site 15 minutes prior to play.

1 or 2 Rounds Reserved: Individual Cost: $50; 2 players in family $100; 3 or 4 players in family $150
3, 4 or 5 Rounds Reserved: Individual Cost: $85; 2 players in family $135; 3 or 4 players in family $185
