IMPLICATED explores the the ways in which our lives are interwoven. Especially white people in the context of Black liberation. Especially straight people in the context of Queer liberation. Especially cis people in the context of Trans* liberation. Especially masculinists in the context of Feminist liberation. Especially white middle class people with functional mental health status and college degrees in the movement for Prison Abolition. And all the beautiful greyness that is neither and both and forever always beyond definition.

This is an evening of interactive and durational performance art, come participate!

* A “cis” person is a person who was assigned a gender and sex at birth that they feel comfortable with. Typically, cis men are men who were assigned male at birth and feel that the words “man” and “male” accurately describe who they are. Likewise, cis women are women who were assigned female at birth and feel that the words “woman” and “female” accurately describe who they are. Generally, cis people do not seek to modify their bodies in ways that would change how they or others place them in a sex category.
