The Yellow Springs End of Life Community Forum’s presentation on Monday, April 13 at 7:00 pm in the Rockford Chapel on the Antioch College campus will be given by the Funeral Consumers Alliance of Central Ohio (FCACO). The speakers will be Alice Faryna (President) and Cathy Elkins (Membership Secretary). Their topic is “Do You Know Where You Go After You Die?” FCACO was founded in 1953 and is one of more than 110 similar alliances in the U.S. They are run by volunteers and have no connection with the funeral industry or any religious group. Their service area includes Columbus, Yellow Springs, Springfield, and Dayton. One of their missions is to “offer reasonably priced options for dealing with remains at death.” This public meeting will be of much interest to our community.
