Young’s is celebrating 147 years since the farm was founded — the red barn located next to Route 68 was built in 1869 by relatives of the Young family. Hap Young purchased the farm in 1946 and along with his three sons Carl, Bob & Bill, began what has become Young’s Jersey Dairy. Young’s started to sell directly to the public in the late 1950’s under the name Hap Young & Sons and has been fortunate for the support of our guests ever since. Over 300 full and part time staff including fourteen Young family members work to make Young’s a place for families to visit and enjoy the farm, the activities, friendly service and delicious food.

The Young family is proud of its history, growing from a small farm to a year round family fun destination with more than one million guest visits a year featuring two restaurants, two miniature golf courses, a driving range, batting cages, corn mazes, pick your own pumpkins, educational tours, company picnics, large events and more! Young’s Farmstead Cheese was added in 2009 – cheese made right on our farm using milk produced by Young’s Jersey cows.

Young’s is celebrating this birthday with the following specials and promotions during the four-day holiday weekend of January 15-18, 2016!

Red, White & Blue Sundae with a Young’s Souvenir Quart Milk Bottle — Three scoops of Young’s homemade ice cream & three toppings finished with whipped cream, waffle cone pieces and a cherry for $3.95 and the guest keeps the souvenir quart milk bottle.

More Specials — All kid’s meals are $1.47 at either restaurant. Cheeseburgers are $1.47 at The Dairy Store and The Golden Jersey Inn, and one-dip homemade waffle cones are $1.47 at The Dairy Store. Games of miniature golf and medium buckets of balls at Udders & Putters are also $1.47. Young’s Farmstead Cheese is featured in two ways – Young’s Deep-fried Cheddar Curds are $2.99 an order at both restaurants, and a sampler container of four kinds of Young’s Farmstead Cheese or four kinds of fresh cheddar curds for $4.99.
