Yellow Springs Arts Council Presents Arts Alive!

Singer/Songwriter Performance
featuring Dawn Cooksey, Lorna Hunt, and Juniper
Saturday, November 8, 8 p.m.

Dawn Cooksey has performed solo and with bands since the 90’s. Her music ranges from rock, folk, alternative, bluegrass, jazz, punk, blues, to country.

Currently, she performs as a solo act and occasionally as part of “68 South” with bass player Neil Thompson.

Lorna Hunt is a songerwriter and singer in the Americana & contemporary folk genres.

Based now in Yellow Springs, OH, she spent some years orbiting the Hollywood music scene, touring up and down both the west and east coast with her albums All in One Day & Sentimental Bedlam.

Juniper’s music is a unique combination of soul-bearing poetic verse ove simple melodies paired with acoustic punk riffs. She plays music as a celebration of life, for healing, and as a spiritual practice. Rob Kola will be accompanying her on djembe.
