A special invitation from Shirley Mullins…

Join us for a 50th Anniversary Celebration Concert!

Featuring camp alumni from the Yellow Springs Summer Strings & Band Camp in a cello orchestra concert followed by a full orchestra concert featuring what we hope to be the largest ever ensemble to play “Cherokee Chief”! And wouldn’t it be great to get campers from every year since 1964? We’ll also be doing a 50 years photo, even if you can’t play the concert.

So dust off your cellos, clarinets, trumpets, etc.; call all your old musician classmates and make plans to join us Saturday, July 5th. The Cello Orchestra will perform at 5pm followed immediately by the Full Orchestra and, of course, Grande Finale cake, punch and fellowship. We’ll be sending out info on rehearsal times for those who might want to brush up a bit. Please let us know if you need help in locating an instrument for the concert.

Please join us to help Shirley celebrate this amazing and important milestone in Yellow Springs’ music.
And spread the word!
