The race is open to runners/walkers/ and wheel chair participants.
Age Divisions: 9 & under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+
Awards/After Party and Refreshments/Door Prizes

Entry fee: $20 / $10 for youth (9 and younger)

Participants encouraged to get sponsors.

Owen is a Yellow Springs resident, born with Congenital Muscular Dystrophy. Though he has never walked, it does not stop him from playing the games he loves such as baseball, soccer, and video games. Growing up, Owen did not have the opportunity to play the games he loved with his family and friends because the parks were not accessible. So a park has been created so families like Owen’s can go and enjoy a park together.

Owen’s Place is a universally accessible area for people of all ages and all abilities to come and enjoy time together.
