This course will build on basic pottery skills; focusing on more complex forms including plates, lidded forms and larger serving dishes. We will also focus on balance and aesthetics, surface decoration and glazing techniques to complement the form. Course fee includes everything you need while you are in the class: basic pottery tools, 25 lbs. of clay, bisque and reduction firing and open studio time to practice what you are learning.
