Ohio Poet Laureate Dave Lucas will visit Yellow Springs to share his poetry and writing and answer questions. The reading will take place in the Antioch University Midwest Auditorium (900 Dayton Street). A reception with wine and hors d’oeuvres will follow the reading. Doors open at 5:00 and event begins at 5:30. Doors open at 5:00. The event is free and open to the public.

Dave Lucas is the author of Weather (VQR/Georgia, 2011), which received the 2012 Ohioana Book Award for Poetry. In 2018, he was appointed the second Poet Laureate of the State of Ohio. A co-founder of Cleveland Book Week and Brews + Prose at Market Garden Brewery, he lives in Cleveland, where he was born and raised.
