Child’s Play

What does a child know of work and play, sadness and joy, pain and pleasure? Probably a lot more than we want to admit.

This work in progress, solo devised physical performance explores some of the origins of sexual violence and rape culture. Lauren Hind, a twenty-two-time sexual assault and incest survivor follows the story held in her own body, hidden memories, journals, videotapes, and songs to relearn new pathways towards consent and healing.
