Village Artisans Gallery in Yellow Springs, OH, is hosting “Cowgirl Style – New Work by Cynthia McDonald,” in their Lobby Gallery throughout the month of June. McDonald’s show is up June 1 – June 27, 2017. An Artist Reception is Friday, June 16, 6 – 9 PM, with light refreshments. Both the reception and the exhibit are free and open to the public.     

McDonald describes herself as “self-taught gourd artist – I have been carving and creating gourd art since 2000. I took some private painting lessons awhile back, just for fun, and have been painting for the last seven years” as well. She has been a member of Village Artisans Co-op since 2006 and she participated in last year’s Yellow Springs Open Studio Tour, Village Artisans’ Art on the Lawn in August, and a few other local, outdoor festivals.
