Cycle to Young’s Dairy
A free evening bicycle ride, escorted by Greene County Parks and Trails Trail Sentinels, will be held Saturday, April 18, from Old Town Reserve to Young’s Dairy, beginning at 7 p.m. Participants must be over the age of 18, wear a helmet and have lights. The evening will be cancelled in the event of a thunderstorm. For more information, call 937-532-6440 or email abotkin@co.greene.oh.us

 

The entrance to the 6.5-acre Old Town Reserve is on Old Springfield Pike at U.S. Route 68 north of Xenia. A shelter with grill can be rented for a family picnic. The Ohio Historical Society has placed a marker here denoting the birthplace of Tecumseh, the great Native American leader of the Shawnee Tribe.
