Opening Reception Friday, April 17th

Tom Verdon is a figurative painter. His studio is a delight to visit. You can’t help but think, this is the way that a studio is supposed to be; high ceilings, with the walls covered with evocative paintings and drawings of people. There is a sturdy model stand with pillows. There are old comfy chairs and well-used easels set up with paintings in different stages.
You can smell the oil paint and the turpentine.

Tom likes to work in the mornings and each morning finds him quietly at work.
By evening there is more art, more life, more human forms and faces that surround him.
On Friday April 17th from 6-9 p.m. we invite you to come to Tom’s Opening Reception, grab a glass of wine and some of the bounteous nibbles and see the “many forms, shapes and expressions of our fellow creatures.”
