A FREE DAY OF FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

Super-Fly Comics & Games in Yellow Springs is one of thousands of comic book shops around the world celebrating the biggest day in the comic book industry and comic art form, Saturday, May 2nd. On Free Comic Book Day, over 5.6 million comic books will be given away by participating stores, introducing as many people as possible to the wonders of comic books!

“The wide array of comic books being published today ensures that readers of all ages — children, teens, and adults – can find something appropriate that will stir their imaginations,” said Anthony Barry, owner of Super-Fly Comics & Games.

Celebrating its fourteenth year, Free Comic Book Day has proven to be a smashing success, spreading the word that comics are a terrific read. 

In addition to free comics for every customer while supplies last, Super-Fly will also host comics professionals Rusty Shackles, Pat Baumgartner, Chad Lambert, Adam Hicks, and Shawn Pryor. Starting at 9:00 PM self-described overly-enthusiastic hip-hopper Adam Warrock will give a free performance of his latest pop-culture-inspired raps. Super-Fly Comics will also offer a store-wide 30% sale in celebration of the day.
