Food, games, and fun for the whole family with the Yellow Springs Kids Playhouse

Looking for a fun family day on the farm this Mother’s Day? Come on over to Whitehall Farm May 10th, 3-6pm and enjoy old-fashioned games, crafts, and other playful activities for kids of all ages, as well as tours of Whitehall Farm and horse-drawn wagon rides. With something for everyone in the family to enjoy, it is sure to be a great day for all involved. Plant seedlings and fair-style concessions will also be available for purchase. The cost is $5 per person or $10 per family.

In addition to celebrating Mothers’ Day, we will be celebrating the legacy of Whitehall Farm and YS Kids Playhouse’s original play titled The Farm based on George Orwell’s Animal Farm and the story of Whitehall Farm. Auditions will be Saturday, May 9th and 16th from 12-3pm at the Yellow Springs Presbyterian Church, and The Farm will be performed July 16-19th and 23-26th at 7:30 at the Antioch College Amphitheater. An associated event titled Hereos of Whitehall will be held June 18th from 2-5pm at the Yellow Springs Local Library.
