Historically Speaking Series

March 25, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Get ready for your summer vacation reading by meeting local and nationally known authors. The National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center will host a series of book talks featuring thought-provoking writers:

Nationally known author Rev. Dr. Barbara Reynolds will make a special appearance to discuss her new
book My Life, My Love, My Legacy, which she co-wrote with Coretta Scott King. The book is the life
story of Mrs. King―the wife of Martin Luther King Jr., founder of the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for
Nonviolent Social Change―as told fully for the first time toward the end of her life to Reynolds. My
Life, My Love, My Legacy is one of The Washington Post’s Books to Read in 2017 and The New York
Times Book Review Editors’ Choice.

Free with paid museum admission.
