Monthly Art Sampler Classes Starting!
Third Sundays from 2-5pm

The Yellow Springs Arts Council is starting up a new series of classes aimed at adults (kids 12-15 may attend with a parent) who are interested in learning the basics of various art techniques. Local artists will teach painting, embroidery, drawing, photography and whatever else we can think of!
Class size will be small – 5 to 15 people – to ensure personal attention for each student. Cost is $20 per session.

Down and Dirty: An Intensive Introduction to Calligraphy – Legibility in 180 Minutes by Ann Bain

Ann has been involved in art since she was a little girl, which led her to major in art in college. When she began exploring calligraphy in the early 80s, she fell in love with the combination of words, painting, drawing, poetry, color, composition and more. Her enthusiasm for the written word is palpable and she looks forward to sharing it with you!
