LEGACY OF A DREAM is a highly condensed version of “King: A Filmed Record; Montgomery to Memphis”, the definitive documentary of Martin Luther King’s non-violent campaign for civil rights and social justice. Directed and produced by Antioch College alum Richard Kaplan, who will be in attendance for a Q&A after the screening, it uses only original newsreel and other actuality footage, unvarnished and unretouched, and covers the period from the Montgomery bus boycott of 1955 through King’s assassination in 1968. Narrated by James Earl Jones, it is a powerful and deeply moving film. It shows Saturday at 2 p.m. Admission is FREE.
