Growing Green 2022 Virtual Conference Series: Day 2.
Co-sponsored by Tecumseh Land Trust and the Agraria Center for Regenerative Practice, as a part of the Jacoby Partnership, a Regional Conservation Partnership Program through the USDA.
Join us as we learn about how the pandemic has impacted our local food supply system globally, nationally, and locally here in the Southwest, Ohio region.
Presentations will be held online via Zoom. There will also be a live tour at Finch Creek Farm (registration details below).
Conference Schedule:
10:00am ET: Introduction
10:00 – 10:30am ET: Disruptions in the Food Supply Chain due to the COVID-19 pandemic
Presenter: Dr. Dean Snyder, Antioch College, Professor of Political Economics
10:30-10:45am ET: Q & A
10:45 – 11:00am ET: Break
11:00am ET: Local Foods Purchasing, Promoting & Growing
Each presenter will provide a five-minute introduction describing their local foods project & discussing how the pandemic has affected their work. The remaining time will be a moderated discussion. Panelists:
