Ohio Chautauqua Living History Tour is coming to the Village of Clifton on June 30th through July 4th, 2015. Professional actors will deliver dramatic performances as important historical figures or characters. Evening programs will be at 7:00 each night and daily workshops will be announced. The big top tent will be located behind the Union School Building on the baseball diamond on Clay St. in Clifton. Educational workshops will be held at area libraries in Greene and Clark counties. The event is free and open to the public. The Village of Clifton will sell concessions and food vendors will set up onsite. Opening night, Tuesday, June 30, will include a catered VIP event prior to the show.

Ohio Chautauqua programs are fun for the entire family! Each evening, music fills the air before a talented scholar assumes the costume and character of a historic figure and presents a compelling living history performance. Families, friends, and neighbors meet under the tent to learn from and talk with famous personalities from our past. During the day, audiences explore different aspects of the theme by attending hands-on workshops for children and special adult programs presented by the scholars in venues throughout the host community.
