Village Artisans Gallery in Yellow Springs, OH, is hosting “Paintings by Leah Grommon and Christine Klinger” in their Lobby Gallery during April and mid-May, 2018. Grommon and Klinger are both members of the Village Artisans cooperative. There is an artists’ reception on Friday, April 20, from 6 PM to 9 PM. Both the reception and the show are free and open to the public.

Leah Grommon is a painting member of Village Artisans. She graduated from Wright State with a Bachelors of Fine Art in 2003. She paints primarily images of landscapes, horses, guitars, and other subjects as they arise. She also plays and draws on guitars. The work Grommon is displaying in the Village Artisan show consists of Glen Helen landscape paintings and decorated guitars. 

Christine Klinger is a multi-media member of Village Artisans. She is an artist and art educator who lives in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Klinger has taught sculpture and photography at colleges and community art centers in Ohio, South Carolina and California, and currently teaches painting in Yellow Springs. She has shown in several solo and group exhibitions, including the Winds Café in Yellow Springs, the Yellow Springs Brewery and the Meadowlark Restaurant in Dayton. This year she has been invited to show at the Yellow Springs Arts Council Gallery from August – September; The Emporium in Yellow Springs from August – October, and the Centerville Art Gallery in November.
