During the month of June, Village Artisan member Cynthia McDonald will be exhibiting a show called “Paintings from Wild Gourd Studio.” Village Artisans Member/Artist Cynthia McDonald, of Cedarville, has been specializing in gourd art for 16 years and has recently been exploring acrylics on canvas as well. See her newest work and enjoy the music of Native American-style flute maker Paul Nelson at the 6/18/16 Artist Reception. The show continues through 6/30/16.

McDonald says her “subject matter is as meandering” as her media. Her “love of colors and the desire to push the limits of paint on canvas make her art heartfelt and fun.” She says that “art of all kinds feeds (her) soul.”

The Village Artisans Gallery is a multi-media cooperative art gallery located at 100 Corry Street in Yellow Springs.
