The Yellow Springs Chamber is pleased to announce that we will be sponsoring Shred It Yellow Springs on April 23 in conjunction with the Glen Helen Earth Day Celebration, Green(E) Fest to help villagers protect against identity theft by safely disposing of the mounds of paperwork overtaking us all.  Shred-it is the world’s leading on site Document Destruction Company with over 150,000 customers worldwide.  It is really easy; just bring your personal documents, minus binder clips and other heavy metal pieces, to the parking lot at Limestone St. and Corry St. on April 23 between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm and Shred-it will do the rest.

 Bring anything you no longer need that contains personal information including social security number, credit card numbers, bank information, school records, military records, pay stubs, old tax files and other similar documents. We will also be accepting electronics and batteries. Paper to be shredded can be in any containers and can have paperclips and staples but not binder clips. We are also accepting batteries and electronics. NO CRT monitors meaning old style TV’s or computer monitors!
