Sustainable Development talk at Cedarville University

Sharla Megilligan, founder of Makarios International, will be speaking at Cedarville University on Thursday, April 16, 2015, 6-8 p.m.

The program, Rooted Relief, Promoting Lasting Communities, is hosted by the Senior Social Work Class at Cedarville University. The Senior Social Work class strives to educate the community about the benefits of Sustainable Development in contrast to short-term relief efforts.

Refreshments provided. 2 free CEU’s for social workers.
Sharla Megilligan is a 1997 Cedarville University graduate and founder of Makarios International, a non-profit organization which supports educational development in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and other impoverished areas of the world.
