The orchestra will play repertoire by Honegger, Haydn, Gounod, Ives, Satie and Rameau, highlighting works connected with the sensibilities and practice of philosophy, and some of its major figures. Please join us for Haydn’s Symphony No. 22 (The Philosopher), Ives’s enigmatic The Unanswered Question, Satie’s innovative cantata Socrate!
