Yellow Springs Open Studios

October 21st and 22nd 10-5 p.m.

If you love Yellow Springs and that great artist vibe that comes from walking around Yellow Springs and you’re curious to meet some of the artists who create it, come to the Open Studios and  experience for yourself how the Yellow Springs’ art vibe happens.  You can see many of the artists demonstrate their techniques, talk with them and laugh with them. Some will be offering beverages and munchies, come for a relaxing, laid back time hanging out with the artists.

Yellow Springs Open Studios weekend  is an opportunity to visit the studios of 22 local artists in and around the village, see their work and that of eight guest artists- Free!

Glass, Fiber, Pottery, Jewelry, Photography. Wood, Sculpture, Gourds, Painting, Drawing, Graphic Design, Paper Art, Printmaking and more. Many of the artists will offer their work for sale.

Printed guides will be available at the beginning of October at Yellow Springs Station on the Bike Trail, YS Arts Council Gallery at 111 Corry Street, and various locations around the village.

Look for the yellow balloons at each of the studios.

You’ll also want to schedule time to visit over 60 downtown shops, galleries and eateries. After visiting the studios, stop by the Yellow Springs Brewery for an Art Social between 5 and 7 pm both evenings to enjoy a craft beer, art , and friendly conversation.
