Yellow Springs Theater Company (YSTC) has exciting news for our upcoming production of “Killers”: we can finally confirm that our world premiere of this new play by local resident Thor Sage will be at the newly remodeled experimental theater space at Antioch’s Foundry Theater! We are thrilled at the opportunity and grateful to all those at both the College and the Community who came together to help make this happen. From all of us at YSTC, thank you so very much. 

 

“Killers” will run November 7th-8th and 14th -15th in the space, with shows at 8 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday with an additional 11:45 showing on the Saturday night performances. Space is limited to 50 audience members per show, so we will be offering pre-show ticket sales so you can make sure to get your seat for this play. 

 

In addition, there will be a pre-show benefit for YSTC on November 15th prior to the 8 p.m. performance of “Killers”. We will be posting more details about this event in the upcoming weeks so be sure to mark your calendars for what should be a wonderful evening! 

 

“Killers” is a provocative work, set over the course of one dark night of the soul. Todd (Colton Pitstick) is hurt in the woods with only Kurt (Troy Lindsay) to save him, but there are no guarantees unless Todd does what Kurt wants. Performed without intermission, the play is an intense and mature look at whether one can have trust and faith in our fellow humanity as well as how we as individuals live and (sometimes) lie to ourselves. Directed by Thor Sage and Assistant Directed by Ali Thomas, “Killers” is a shaping up to be a powerhouse of a show!
