Yellow Springs Community Dance Gallery Show

The Yellow Springs Community Dance Concert is an annual arts production that is much anticipated by both dancers and community. Choreographers have created performance pieces that capture and convey a range of emotions from lightheartedness to anguish. This year’s Community Dance Concert will take place in the newly renovated Foundry Theatre on Antioch College Campus in Yellow Springs off of Corry Street.

Performances are Friday and Saturday, February 13 and 14 at 8:00pm. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children and seniors; free admission for Antioch students. For more information contact Melissa Heston, 937-901-0344, melheston@gmail.com.

The Yellow Springs Community Dance Concert 2015 features choreographers and dancers from the Yellow Springs community ranging from budding artists to well-seasoned professionals, and includes a myriad of dance forms from street dance, belly dance, modern dance, folk, and jazz, among others.

Antioch College’s partnership with YS Dance is very important to the area dance community and YS Dance is pleased to continue this relationship. 2015 YSCDC Producers Melissa Heston and Marybeth Wolf and co-producers Jill Becker, Ali Thomas, and Laryssa Ingebo want to thank Antioch College for its continued support of the Yellow Springs dance community through use of the physical spaces, both rehearsal and performance, that make our community dance productions possible.
