YSTC SECOND SEASON CONTINUES WITH HILARITY FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE WITH NOEL COWARD’S BLITHE SPIRIT!

Performances run April 8-10, 15-17 at the First Presbyterian Church of Yellow Springs, located at 314 Xenia Avenue in the Village.

Curtain is at 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, 2 p.m. on Sundays.

Admission is $10 at the door.

Directed by Ed Knapp, BLITHE SPIRIT is Noel Coward’s dry, witty and spook-tacular comic classic. After a spirted séance goes decidedly wrong, the decidedly British novelist Charles Condomine suddenly finds himself face to face with the ghost of his deceased wife, Elvira. The only problem: Elvira’s hauntings are driving a wedge between Charles and his current spouse, Ruth. To complicate matters, Ruth is accidentally killed and united with Elvira on the “other side.” Love and marriage devolve into laughter and mayhem as together the paranormal pair of blithe spirits haunt their hapless husband with hilarious consequences.

The YSTC production features Ellen Ballerene, Robert Campbell and Sarah Wildman as the ghostly love triangle. Kayla Graham is the muddled medium who causes the mischief, while Lara Bentley, Chuck Dunn and YSTC newcomer Greta Kremer make up the rest of the ensemble.
