End-of-Life Community Forum presents Dr. Abi Katz and End of Life Experiences

Dr. Abi Katz (DO, MS; Medical Director, KHN Post-Acute Care Continuum) will be talking about a variety of topics of interest to the general public at the End of Life Community Forum meeting on Monday, March 9. The meeting will be held in the Rockford Chapel on the Antioch campus and start at 7:00 pm. Among topics to be presented are: end of life experiences (both as a physician and a caregiver); physiology of dying; developmental tasks of dying (life completion); and how to talk with your family or your doctor about death and dying. Dr. Katz received her DO from Ohio University in 2006. Since then she has held a number of positions, and specializes in hospice and palliative care. Dr. Katz has published nine professional papers and has received a number of awards and professional recognition.
