The Glen Helen Atrium Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibition of painting, collages and prints entitled “Color: Impressions and Improvisations” by Dayton artist, A. Joseph Barrish 

A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Barrish is a gallery supervisor of Gallery St. John and director of Sun and Stars Artworks Design Studio. He has received numerous awards for his work, and has exhibited his work throughout the United States. He has been represented in galleries in Chicago, Ireland,  and New York City, and in numerous private collections in Los Angeles, St. Louis and throughout Ohio. He has illustrated books and is a print maker doing woodcuts, serigraphs and etchings. 

The public is invited to meet the artist at the opening reception on Sunday, August 31, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

The Glen Helen Atrium Gallery is located in the Vernet Ecological Center (formerly the Glen Helen Building) at 405 Corry Street in Yellow Springs. Show hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. Admission is free.
