The 19th Annual Auction Gala & Comedy Show includes – in addition to the silent auction and a comedy performance – a live auction, gourmet hors d’oeuvres (most will consider it a meal) provided by Current Cuisine, wine, and dessert. The Antioch School is the oldest democratic school in the country and an essential Yellow Springs institution.

Very Funny Lady Leighann Lord will be performing at The Antioch School’s 19th Annual Auction Gala & Comedy Show! Save the date: March 7th, 2015 at the Foundry Theatre at Antioch College. Tickets will go on sale mid January. It will be an evening of good food, wine and laughter.

Leighann Lord was voted “The Most Thought Provoking Black Female Comic” at the fourth annual NYC Black Comedy Awards.(The male winner on the award that year? Dave Chappelle.) For two consecutive years, Leighann was named the official comedian for Harlem Week. (The only other comedian in Harlem Week’s history to earn that distinction is Richard Pryor.)
