Village Artisans Gallery in Yellow Springs, OH, is hosting “Winter Blues,” a members’ art show and sale, in their Lobby Gallery. All items are created by Village Artisans members, with open interpretations of the theme. The show will be up January 12 through February 13, 2017, with an Open House/Artists’ Reception Saturday, January 21 all day, 11 AM – 6 AM, with light refreshments. Both the reception and the exhibit are free and open to the public.     

Also on Saturday, January 21, during the Open House/Artists Reception for the “Winter Blues” Show, visitors are welcome to stop at our creation table to actively Chase Away the Winter Blues by making a blue, beaded, wire-wrap bracelet. Village Artisan members Theresa Mayer and Barbara Vandecreek will be there from Noon until 3:00 PM to help visitors create their own unique bracelet. The cost to make and keep a bracelet is $15 and includes all supplies needed: memory wire, commercial beads, and one lampwork bead designed by a Village Artisan. Join us at our Open House/Artists Reception for some creative fun to help chase away the winter blues and go home with a beautiful, personal, hand-made piece of art.

The Village Artisans Gallery is a multi-media cooperative art gallery located at 100 Corry Street in Yellow Springs.
