9th grade PBL Project: How does our own “food culture” affect our lives, and how can we cultivate a healthier community through education about food choice? There will be 15 exhibits that help answer this question. Some of the topics include: chocolate, dairy, chicken, food workers, slow food, fast food, blue zones, spices, bison, corn, food cultures, hunger/food insecurity, bees/honey, sugar, Which diet is best? One group is making t-shirts with an expo logo the students made. Each exhibit will have a small tasting plate, and patrons will get a card to allow them to sample a certain number of plates during the evening.
